Terms of Service

Last updated: 19 July 2026. By accessing or using waypoint.dog and its tool subdomains, you agree to these terms.

The service

waypoint.dog provides AI-assisted tools (including idea validation, startup identity, and brand identity), shared credits, and a project context layer. Features may change as we improve the product.

Accounts

You must sign in with a supported method (magic link and/or OAuth). You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your email or OAuth provider secure. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or violate these terms.

Credits and payments

Paid credit packs are sold via Paddle. Credits are consumed when tool runs complete according to the product's reserve/consume rules. Unused credits are not automatically refunded if you choose not to commit tool output into project context. Refunds, when applicable, are handled through Paddle's processes.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Violate law or third-party rights
  • Attempt to bypass credit, rate-limit, or security controls
  • Abuse disposable-email or automated signup schemes
  • Use the service to generate unlawful or harmful content
  • Reverse engineer or disrupt the platform beyond normal use

AI outputs and trademarks

AI-generated content is provided as assistance, not professional legal, trademark, or business advice. Domain availability and trademark screening signals are informational only and may be incomplete. You are solely responsible for verifying names, domains, trademarks, and compliance before commercial use.

Intellectual property

We retain rights in the platform, branding, and software. Subject to these terms and your payment obligations, you may use outputs generated for your projects. You retain rights in content you submit, and grant us a license to process that content to provide the service.

Privacy

Personal data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for decisions you make based on tool outputs. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the amounts you paid us for credits in the twelve months before the claim.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms or to protect the service. Provisions that by nature should survive (including IP, disclaimers, and liability limits) survive termination.

Changes

We may update these terms by posting a revised version with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
